Dallol, Hawzien, Axum, Lalibela for 8days/7nights
Day 1 Berhale-HamadEla
In the morning, we drive to Danakil via Berhale to the Afar village Hamadella, which is called “base camp” located in the desert and only 20 km far from Dallol. We have lunch on the way and stop at some places where you can enjoy a very impressive view and you meet the first camel caravans. In Berhale pickup the policemen to join the group for the tour. We leave the highland and mountains 2000m above sea level to the stone and salt desert to HamadEla. In the evening we enjoy the spectacular view of the sunset reflection on the Lake Asale.

Day 2
After breakfast early in the morning we start our journey, with 45km through Dallol Depression. the tour takes us to visit different places like salt lakes (red and black water), the colorful salt lakes and thermo active springs of Dallol, potash, sulfur and other minerals, the wide white salt desert, a cave with pure natural designed rocks the field where the Afar people are harvesting the salt in the traditional way and where the camel caravans start their long trek to towns like Mekelle for the salt business. After half day touring of Dallol and lunch in HamadEla we drive to Abala.

Day 3 Erebti - Askoma
After drive of 210km via Erebti we reach Askoma where the cars can’t drive further. We have lunch on the way and stop at some places where we cansee great views. On the way we leave the mountains 2000m above sea level to Erebti which is below sea level a total of 300km journey. In the evening we walk for 3 to 4 hours to the top of the volcano while joining different partners during the tour. You will visit the volcano after reaching the top, rest, enjoy and campout at the camp made up of stones.

Day 4: ErtaAle – Afdera - Mekelle
We walk down to the camp at the bottom of the volcano have breakfast, drive to Afdera, swim in Lake Afrera and take a bath at the hot spring water near the Lake. After lunch, we drive back to Mekelle.

Day 5: Mekelle - Hawzien
After a drive of 47km we turn to the West pista road into the beautiful landscape full of amazing shaped mountains, the area of Gheralta and Hawzien. There are more than 60 of the Rock Hewn Churches; in the whole Tigray Region are around 120 churches. Some are easy to reach, while others to reach we need to walk and climb up the rocks ,we will learn the interesting history of the churches, a see the spectacular views. we will be guided by a local guide where we will visit 2 or 3 churches.

Day 6: Hawzien – Axum
After a drive of 220km we reach Axum which belongs to Ethiopia´s most visited and interesting star attractions and UNESCO lists it as a World Heritage Site! 400 years BC the history of the powerful kingdom of Axum started and was thought to be the most powerful. The sites show history and proff of Axum and its history. After Lunch, a professional guide will explain about the attractions and answers detail questions.

Day 7: Axum – Lalibela
Fly to Lalibela and visit Rock Hewn Churches in the north group and Bete Giorgis.

Day 8: Lalibela – Addis
Fly to Addis and do city tour.
